About the team:
The Platform Quality and Projects department, within IONOS Domains & AI Technology division, is in charge of QA, automation, projects and agile for the entire division.
The portfolio under our responsibility includes the Platforms for Domains, DNS and SSL, which delivers services to all IONOS Group Brands. As well as the newly developed IONOS Cloud AI Model Hub and future AI cloud services under development.

Main responsibilities:
Would you like to join the Domains & AI Technology division at IONOS (1&1 Internet Development), Europe’s leading cloud and web hosting provider? We are building the group platforms for Domains, DNS and SSL, as well the platform that provides AI solutions to customers worldwide, from GenAI / LLM inference, to model training, vector databases and much more.
We are looking for an experienced leader for our Platform Quality & Projects department, with a broad proven experience in organizing QA across complex Projects and Programmes.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Quality Assurance processes, standards and delivery for IONOS Domains/DNS/SSL and coordination of Shift-Left Quality activities within our division development organization;
- Running Programme/Project management for Domains Platform Development & Integration initiatives;
- Quality management for AI Platform: AI Model Hub & future developments;
- Coordinate division objectives & roadmap steerings;
- Agile Office;
- Division reporting, security and other cross-functional activities;
- Manage a department of highly skills professionals, organize their activities, their professional development and career paths;
- Be part of the division leadership team;
- Drive excellence and innovation at IONOS by collaborating with our internal community passionate professionals across our international teams.
We appreciate:
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance standards & processes with a proven track record of delivery on complex projects;
- Proven experience in managing projects with distributed stakeholders in international, fast-moving environments;
- Excellent command of project management and software development methodologies, with a strong focus on agile;
- Leadership. Build and maintain a strong team that delivers excellence;
- A mindset of always striving for highest quality standards;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration with distributed international stakeholders;
- Good understanding of product specifications and product management standards;
